It is normal for cactus to have small scars on them like all plants.
You can easily root these plant by planting them in well-draining soil and leaving it in indirect sunlight area and very little water. You should start to see root growth within a few weeks.
Sunlight:
-recommend for partial sunlight( a few to4 or 5 hours of direct sun is ok)
- They will take full sun but we recommend part sun to ensure and keep the colors bright and the same.
watering:
-water once soil has become dry
